Ryanair introducing services to Edinburgh, Bristol
Ryanair is to start operating new twice-weekly services linking Malta to Edinburgh and Bristol.

Ryanair spokesman Maria Macken said the service to Edinburgh will be launched on March 31 and will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The Bristol service will be launched on July 5 and operate on Wednesdays and Sundays.

One way flights will cost €25, including taxes.

Ms Macken said the Irish low cost airline hopes to attract 30,000 passengers annually on the new services.

She also announced that the airline is offering one million seats on its services to Trapani and Bari at €1 each, starting from January 19.

Speaking at a press conference, Ms Mackenn said Ryanair was again calling for a reduction of airport fees in Malta, which, she claimed, were four times higher than in most European airports.
