EasyJet, Ryanair start new services
 
EasyJet today launched a new service between Malta and Malpensa while Ryainair started to operate a flight from Bournemouth to Malta.

Ryanair’s first flight from Bournemouth arrived in Malta at 11.20 a.m. and left again at 11.45 a.m.

Easyjet’s first flight from Malpensa arrived at 1.50 p.m. and returned at 2.25 p.m.

The Department of Information said that Ryanair recently also started to operate new routes from Leeds-Bradford in the UK.

Norwegian Air Shuttle will start operating a new route from Oslo tomorrow. The same company will also start operating from Copenhagen on Sunday.

The number of seats of aircraft operating to and from Malta this year is expected to be 3,168,000, an increase of 220,000 or 7.46 per cent over last year
